活動志在推廣寫作文化, 作品字數不可多於150字，題目標點不算在內. 投稿將在七月底截止. 大會將合規格的小說放在網站, 不記名讓公衆投票.
投票及評選會在八,九月進行. 期間投稿者亦可參加投票.
投票最高分數的30名作品將(不記名式)交由大會最後評審團選出 5 篇最佳得獎作品.

Kenneth and David represented HKSYUCAA to join the Joint U table in the 2015 Markham Mayor’s Chinese New Year Dinner at MEC on March 05, 2015.
Over 900 guests attended the event to celebrate Chinese New Year as well as supporting charity organizations.

Thank you for the participation! The 2014 AGM and annual dinner was a great success. 38 members attended the AGM as well as the annual dinner at Vince Seafood Restaurant on Sunday Jan 25, 2015.
The 2013 AGM minutes and 2014 Financial Report have been passed and accepted by the members.
President Dawin Kong presented the summary of alumni events in 2014 during the meeting. Dawin also highlighted HKSYUCAA is the Chair of the 2015 JU programs and will be leaded by Kenneth Li. “Mini PanAm Game” will be the theme of this year event followed by JU dinner on end of October or early Novemeber. Details will be discussed on the JU meetings with other representatives from other 6 universities’ alumni.
According to constitution, new board of directors for the year of 2015-2016 (two-year-term) have been elected during the AGM.

The new board will be holding the first meeting soon to elect the new president and discuss concerns of the Alumni. On behalf of HKSYUCAA, we would like to thank for the hard work and contribution of the board members for the year 2013-2014; especially the leadership and support of our outgoing President Dawin Kong and Treasurer Grace Lo.
Friendly conversations, funny games, lucky draw and yummy food all filled up the night with friendship and lots of memories! Look forward to our JU events in 2015. We need all the supports from our alumni.

Thanks all the alumni who have joined our second Christmas Party on Sunday Dec 07 2014. We shared lots of yummy food, wine, Christmas songs and happiness moment together. What a cheerful and joyful gathering before the Christmas holidays. Congratulation to Lai Wan Wong again, whose yummy Meringue dessert has been voted to the most favorable dish of the day. This is the second year in a row for her.

What a wondeful evening! Over 200 people from 7 alumnus attended the 2014 Hong Kong Joint University Alumni Talent Night Banquent on October 18, 2014. Shue Yan Alumni performed the show of “八段咁都得” which combined ” 八段錦” with humorous political voice over. Thank you all for the rehearsal and the creative script writing. Congratulations to HK Poly University Alumni for the winning of the HK Cup this year by the performance of a HK Oldies musical. Shue Yan Alumni has received the JU flag and became the rotation chair of JU event for the year of 2015.

Water-mouthing BBQ meat, nice weather, non-stop chatting and long lasting friendship…what a great reunion! We had another wonderful annual Summer BBQ. Thank you for our special guests Mars Kwong and her husband from Hong Kong Alumni and new member–Internet privacy and security expert, Professor Roy Ng from Ryerson University. Members also enjoyed practicing the 八段錦 together. Special thanks to the hospitality of our vice president David Lee who opens his own backyard for the event.
