Tea Culture Salon…a great success!Thanks for the patient. Our Tea Culture Salon finally held on Dec 08, 2013 after postponed for several months. We have more than 10 people attended. Thanks a lot our alumni as well as Tea Master Connie Fong to share her valuable experience on Chinese Tea Culture with us.

Congratulations to Shue Yan team as we won 2nd runner-up in men’s single and women’s doubles in the Joint U alumni associations badminton tournament on Sunday September 29, 2013 .

There are 88 players in different categories and totally 100 games in the tournament.
Shue Yan Alumni also joined the Joint U celebration dinner after the tournament with a total 200 people from 7 Universities participated.

【明報專訊】香港7間大專院校的安省校友會近年的聯繫日益緊密﹐周日聯合舉辦和參與了一場激烈的羽毛球友誼賽﹐理工大學掄元﹐勇奪由香港駐多倫多經濟貿易辦事處贊助的「香港盃」﹐中文大學和香港大學分別獲得亞軍和季軍。 香港駐多倫多經濟貿易辦事處處長盧潔瑋在友誼賽後的頒獎禮上表示﹐很高興參與和贊助安省香港專上校友會聯會2013年「香港盃」羽毛球友誼賽。 她還鼓勵各大專院校校友多回香港經商﹑探親﹑旅遊﹑消費﹐或從香港到中國旅遊﹐以及支持經貿處的活動。她透露﹐在今年11月將有香港學者訪問多倫多﹐與香港基本法有關﹐另有投資與經貿講座。 盧處長是中大校友﹐剛完成加西的推廣活動﹐周五才返抵多倫多。 安省香港專上校友會聯會會長黎勝堅表示﹐友誼賽在Machi羽毛球會舉行﹐逾200名校友參與。在總球證和14名球證協助﹐以及8名隊長和88名校友球員配合下﹐順利完成總共100場不同的雙淘汰比賽。他續稱﹐籌辦比賽的理工大學校友多次尋覓較新和專業的場地﹐盡量讓球員安全地全面發揮球技﹐最後揀選了有防滑和軟墊的Machi羽毛球會。 黎會長還表示﹐在頒獎禮上﹐各大專院校均有精彩歌唱表演﹐由個人到全體合唱﹐團隊精神表露無遺。 7大包括香港浸會大學﹑香港中文大學﹑香港大學﹑香港理工大學﹑香港樹仁大學﹑嶺南大學及珠海學院。 |
